Past Months Outreach Events Summary

Football Game Outreach - The Football Outreach at W. S. Neal High School was a success, with 25 people participating. 500 tracts were distributed.

Black Friday Shopping Outreach - We met Friday morning, November 23rd at 5:00 AM at the Huddle House on Douglas Avenue in Brewton. From there we headed out to distribute tracts to early morning shoppers at Wal-Mart and Fred's. 6 people participated in this outreach, distributing 300 tracts.

Christmas Parade Outreach - December's big event was the Christmas Parade on December 8th in Brewton, AL. 35 people from the church participated in this outreach, some of them walking the entire distance of the parade handing out gospel tracts. We distributed 3,000 tracts. (Pictures and video from the parade will be available soon on the web site.)

The Baseball Clinic- in conjunction with the East Brewton Little League was held March 4th. Approximately 50-60 Little Leaguers participated along with multiple parents, as well as the coach and several players from the JDCC Baseball Team. We were able to share the gospel with those children and give out tracts along with feeding them. We had a group of eleven from our church that helped with this Outreach Event.

Blueberry Festival Outreach - We had about 12 adults come out for the Blueberry Festival Outreach on June 21st and we managed to hand out about 800 - 1,000 tracts that morning.

We spent Saturday, May 24th in preparation for Vacation Bible School. We mailed postcards and went into nearby neighborhoods to putt out door hangers announcing VBS at Ridge Road.

Saturday August 30th was the Flomaton Speedway Outreach. Seventeen people participated in this Outreach event. We handed out over 400 tracts and had the opportunity to witness to many people at the race track. Pictures from the Outreach can be viewed here.
