Halloween Outreach
We had 19 people turn out for our Halloween Outreach in Jay, Florida. We collaborated with the folks of Gloryland Baptist Church in Jay to distribute John/Romans and other gospel literature in a carnival sort of atmosphere in downtown Jay. Gloryland had a trailer and sound system set up from which they had someone conducting ”Way of the Master” type evangelistic interviews. Our group distributed about 500 John/Romans that were provided by the Victory Baptist Press and another 400-500 Chick Tracts. In addition to distributing literature we had one man kneel on the corner of the street in the presence of all of those passers-by and trust the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Our next outreach event is on the 21st of November at the Flomaton Speedway. We’ll be distributing gospel tracts to race-goers and saying the opening prayer for the races. We’ll meet at the church at 5:00 PM and caravan to the speedway.
